QM2's enrichment program, Cunard ConneXions, offers workshops, seminars and lectures presenting perspectives from New York and London. Topics include cooking, wine appreciation, foreign languages, photography, film making, British comedy and events at the QM2's planetarium. Classes are led by leaders in the various fields. The "Oxford Discovery" classes are offered in partnership with the University of Oxford.

Flagship Forum Lecture Series: Most of Holland America's Europe cruises include the "Flagship Forum Lecture Series," a fascinating way for guests to learn about the regions visited. Depending on the itinerary, respected authorities speak on topics such as European history, art and architecture, Scandinavian literature and music or Mediterranean cuisine and culture. The Forum is being expanded but it only available on cruises longer than one week.

The University at Sea also offers lectures of interest to specific professions during the year including the Nurses, Physicians, Architects, Engineers and Veterinarians. Check with your travel agent for specific details.

Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow: A golf pro aboard every cruise gives instruction and leads golf excursions to courses in each port. Includes putting contests, complimentary clinics and demonstrations, the latest V1 video-computer teaching technology, a VHS video of your lesson to take home with voice over by the golf pro.

Cirque de Soleil:
A new alliance with Cirque du Soleil brought some unique entertainment aboard Constellation in December 2004 (and will start on Summit in February 2005). A Cirque du Soleil Masquerade Ball and world-class performance are presented once on every cruise. Representatives of Cirque du Soleil participate in Celebrity's "Celebrity Discoveries" enrichment lecture series. The observation lounge has been transformed into the mystical-themed lounge called "The Bar at the Edge of the Earth". For two hours each evening, passengers are greeted by surreal characters "The Wave Correspondent" "The Lantern Tuner" and "Pez Erizo". Several other characters also are being created by Cirque exclusively for Celebrity, with each designed to "invite guests on a journey to a place beyond imagination". "The Bar at the Edge of the Earth" also serves exotic food and beverages available exclusively in that venue.

The Creative Learning Institute Participants may take a series of complimentary lectures during their cruise, in a variety of subjects. Lecturers will be on board from many organizations and schools including Berlitz, The Cleveland Clinic, Society of Wine Educators, Tai Chi Cultural Center, Yamaha, Book magazine, Barnes & Noble.com, Pepperdine University and Parsons School of Design.
